Paint A Place is a volunteer non-profit home repair program. Our mission is to provide a free home repairs for elderly, disabled, and low income residnets to Lansing while providing job training and community service opportunities for teens and adults. Paint A Place is a 501(C)(3) non-profit subsidiary of the Northtown Neighborhood Association. We are much more than just painters, we have preformed extensive roof repair, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, all at no cost to the homeowner. We resolve home repair needs for those in need. While serving our clients we also provide volunteers with valuable trade skills. In addition to regular contributions from residents of the Northtown Neighborhood, the program enlists volunteers from an array of sources including Lansing Teen Challenge, Michigan State University Learning Center, Group Workcamps Foundation, area churches, foundations, corporations and many others. Paint A Place is supported financially through grants from municipal departments and foundations, as well as monetary and in kind donations from corporations and individuals.
